2. What data we process

  • Contact details – email or phone number you voluntarily provide (e.g. via the chatbot / contact form), solely to handle your request.
  • Technical data – ordinary server logs to the extent needed for website security and operation.

3. Purpose and legal basis

  • Website operation and essential cookies – legitimate interest / necessity to provide the service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); exemption under Slovak Act No. 452/2021 Coll.).
  • Visitor statistics and third-party services (map, videos, social media) – consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); Act No. 452/2021 Coll.).
  • Responding to your message / enquiry – performance of a contract or legitimate interest, or consent where you voluntarily provide data.

4. Cookies

Optional cookies and similar technologies are stored only after your active consent. You may change or withdraw consent at any time via the cookie icon at the bottom right of the page. We renew consent after at most 180 days, or sooner if purposes change.

Essential (always active)

Technically required for the website to work and to remember your choices (cookie consent, dismissed notices). We cannot turn these off. They are not used for statistics or marketing.

Visitor statistics

Help us understand which parts of the site people use (SIDS, breathing monitors, rental locations). We only enable them after consent. We use aggregated data to improve the site, not for sale.

Map, videos and social media

Rental-location map (Mapbox), Google map of our office, YouTube videos and Instagram. These services may set their own cookies and process IP addresses. We do not load them without consent.

Third parties for permitted embedded content: Mapbox (rental-location map), Google (office map), YouTube / Google (videos), Meta / Instagram (embedded posts). These entities may process data under their own policies.

5. Retention period

We keep cookie preferences for at most 180 days. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and for a reasonable archival period under legal obligations.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability and withdrawal of consent. You may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (dataprotection.gov.sk).

7. Chatbot and email

The website chatbot is primarily for FAQs. If you leave contact details via the chatbot or email, we will use them only to get back to you about your question — not to sell data or for unsolicited marketing.
